MeshForum 7-9 May

MeshForum 2006 will be in San Francisco this year on May 7-9th, with an opening reception Saturday night the 6th.  Registration is open and there is now a group discount, where a group of three will save $200 per person.

The schedule for MeshForum 2006 includes discussions of network visualization, human networks, network-related artwork, storytelling, Naked Conversations authors Robert Scoble and Shel Israel, chocolate, and more.  There will be plenty of time for discussion during the formal talks as well as during lunch and dinners.  The last day will be an Open Space to find topics that emerge from the previous days of discussion.

Please consider attending if networks are in your realm of interest.  What kinds of networks? Here's what we say on the about page

Networks form the basis of everything, from how your body works to who you know, from how power is distributed to how the store on the corner is kept stocked. Networks are in the news, from the elections to anti-terrorism, to investigations of financial markets and the Blackout in the US.

At MeshForum 2006, May 7-9 in San Francisco, we will explore Networks in depth. We will examine the critical role visualization and visual thinking plays in understanding and managing networks. Then we will look at very large scale social networks as a significant case study of Networks.
