I have been having fun with life instead of making time for blogging. The fun includes being woken at 1:30 am by a very upset cat. His front, right paw isn't working. It turns out that he has severe spondylosis (spinal osteoarthritis) in which the spinal bones are bridging together. The vet suspects this is somehow pinching a nerve. He's about 15 and has a host of other problems as well. It's not looking good for him.
For fun this weekend we decided to paint the nursery. We've gone from the boring white that a previous owner painted the entire house to a lovely pairing of yellow/green and purple to match a wallpaper border we bought. This kid (due to May) is not going to be afraid of color.
I intend to resume my regular schedule shortly.
